Hello I’m Miko Lee, exotic model and actress in close to 200 adult films.
My journey in the world of adult entertainment has been one filled with both successes combined with a few setbacks. When I first began in the business I was initially involved with doing nude photo shoots, stripping in a Gentlemen’s club, and I also worked briefly for a “voyeur cam” operation. From there I starred in a number of “gonzo” films before graduating to more mainstream types of porn. All in all it was something of a mixed bag, and when I eventually went on hiatus from performing it was partially because I was notsatisfied with the inconsistency in the type of work I was getting. This is not to take anything away from theperformers or directors that I worked with, but I was always fulfilling someone else’s vision, and I felt like I wanted to have more of a say in the types of film that I wanted to do and the roles that I wanted to play. I also had no great desire to be a contract girl, as lucrative as that may have proved to be in the long run.
When I first entered the world of adult film in 1998, itwas very different than it is today. The primary delivery medium was the VHS video tape, and the industry basicallybecame open to virtually any aspiring filmmaker with a camcorder who could find willing performers. Needless to say, many of the resulting films during that time frame suffered greatly in terms of both quality and content. The DVD medium was just beginning to take hold, and becamethe primary format for porn only a few years later. By that time however another technological revolution had already begun, which transformed the industry yet again: Thanks to the internet, it was possible to stream content from web sites,and this led to the eventual decline of tape and disc based formats. Not only was just about anyone with a camcorder able to make their own films, but now they were able to bypass the studios and distributors with their content.
After spending more a decade in front of the cameraacting in movies with of greatly differing production standards, I’ve decided to steer my career in a new direction and take control of the quality of content that I’m associated with. With my new company Miko Lee Productions, I aimto provide a high standard of entertainment that can meet the demands of the ever changing market in the adult film world. My goal is to bring together elements of class, coupled with technically and artistically outstanding forms of filmed content that I’m hoping viewers will find to be provocative and satisfying on many levels. I will also introduce some exciting new performers, and I want to specialize in certain types of niche genres that I feel are not currently being well represented. To my loyal fans, fear not -- although I will beinvolved in writing, directing, shooting, and editing, I will still find the time to appear in many of my productions, so you’ll continue to have me around for your viewing pleasure.
